The Maxwell Canal will be low for the next several days. HID is working to send as much water as possible down the Maxwell Diversion from the Umatilla River. The Umatilla River is extremely low right now and our canal is choked with moss and pond weed that needs to be mechanically cleaned. Our Maxwell Pump Station will be down on Monday for 4-6 hours to rewire 2 pumps that are down at this time. The A-Line has been turned up to try and supplement some of the tailwater missing from the Maxwell. We are limited to the amount we can turn up at the headend, as we do not want to overtop the canal. The Maxwell Canal affects the M, D, O, OA, OB, Barton and Minnehaha Pump Station. Please be patient as the crew is working hard to make sure water delivery is restored.
